Alec Peever carving work in progressFiona and Alec Peever design and make sculpture and hand carved lettering in stone. With over 30 years experience their large portfolio of work includes poetry trails, monuments in churches and cathedrals, garden features and public installations, while also specialising in individually sculpted churchyard memorials and architectural carving.

Both Alec and Fiona studied at The City and Guilds School of Art, London and have an imaginative and exploratory approach, developing their unique hand drawn designs by using their traditional craft skills and knowledge, combined with contemporary techniques to create innovative and beautifully made works of art.

Throughout his career Alec has also trained apprentices in the studio and inspired others with his lecture talks on craftsmanship and its relevance to the modern age. Their work is represented in many public and private collections, including the National Collection of British Craft. Please see the Curriculum Vitae page for a selected list of commissions and exhibitions.
